I admit ....
Yes, I'm still alive!
I feel terrible that I've totally slacked on my blog. I read Haylee's blog all the time and she is doing fantastic!!! I honestly have not been good AT ALL!!! Today I'm making that change. Haylee has lost 40lbs in 4 months. That is amazing ... BUT she is doing it right. I'm not! I just feel terrible. I have the key why haven't I made it work.
I don't drink TAIslim on a regular basis ... BAD!
I don't exercise on a regular basis ... BAD!
I eat crap all the time ... BAD BAD BAD!!!
So how can I lose 30lbs in 3-4 month?? Here is my new goal. Yes .. I'm sticking to it!
Drink TAIslim before breakfast & lunch each day!!! WHY?? I burn more energy (calories), it has a appetite suppressant and it curbs the cravings, I HAVE energy (yippee) and lastly I want to exercise when I drink my TAIslim. SO, why haven't I been drinking it then you ask??? Laziness ... honestly that is all it comes down to.
Next I will go running every other day and weight lift on the off days. No, I'm not going to 'buff' up. I'm going to 'tone' up. People have a misconception about lifting weights. They think that if they do they will 'buff' up. Women have to lift very heavy weights AND take some sort of muscle enhancement to 'buff' up. Weight lifting is essential to losing weight. When you build muscle that muscles burns more fat.
I will begin to log my food intake as well and count calories. I need to keep my intake under 1700 calories. I will only allow myself to have a treat 2 times a week for now. Wish me luck and please feel free to drop a note to see how I'm doing if I haven't blogged in a while.

It's been a while!
So I have totally slacked on updating my blog. My bad! I ran my 10k two weeks ago. One week after my 5k. This wasn't a very good decision on my part, but hey at least I did it. Now I am trying to recover from the worst case of shin splints EVER! I finished in 1hour and 7minutes. Not too bad considering I didn't train much and was sick. I think I will try again in a couple of months.
So I went to Utah for a TAIslim meeting that we put on for Haylee. She and her girlfriends are totally killin it in selling TAIslim. you guys rock!!! It was great getting all pumped up again about this product. I freakin love it!!
So I've lost another pound! and another inch in my waist!!!
So all together I have lost 11lbs and 4.5 inches in my waist. Hip hip HOORAY!!

I did it!!!
This morning my sisters, niece & I ran the 5k 'Race for the Cure'. This was all of ours first time running a 5k, or race for that matter. I'm SO proud of everyone! Cala ran it in 28:15, I got 30:40, Tasha got 31:00 and Karlene finished strong with 35:00. Cala and I ran our first mile in 8:34, WOW!!! I will post pictures later. :)
I'm considering running a 10k next Saturday. Am I crazy???!!!

I'm surprised!
I'm surprised with how well I've been doing on eating less and working out more and still feel satisfied. I know it's because of the TAIslim. I'm burning way more calories then I'm eating and I don't feel like I need to raid the pantry. That is awesome! I went running outside this morning. Now whoever thinks running outside is easier than the treadmill is CRAZY! Now, granted it was only 35 degrees out but I COULD NOT BREATH! It took a while to get adjusted to my breathing outside and concentrate on running. Nevertheless, I made it. I ran/jog/walked for 40 minutes. Then we took the girls on a 40min bike ride this evening. It's a great day!

Ahhh Ya!
So today I went to the gym and did 35 minutes of weight training. My friends Kacee & Jeanne who are trainers at IAC told me that you burn fat faster the more muscle you have. Weight training is extremely crucial to weight loss. I worked my shoulders, biceps and triceps this morning.
